What is the LPGIA?

The Liquified Petroleum Gas Industry Association, Inc. ( LPGIA ) is a non-stock, non-profit corporation organized on August 31, 2000. It is the only industry association from the Philippines which is a member of the World LPG Association, the global voice for the LPG industry with 150 members from 90 countries, and which was given Consultative Status with the UNESCO. One of the primary missions of the LPGIA is to assist the government in promoting safe practices in the LPG industry through:

• Consumer and stakeholder education;


• Policy review and recommendations of existing and proposed laws, ordinances, rules and regulations;


• Effective partnerships and linkages with international organizations and the various branches, instrumentalities and agencies of government.
